The roadmap for V3.0.0, the "Corporate Gluttony" update.

This new update includes a whole host of new game content, services, etc. This is simply here for me to articulate what's next, what to add, and more. This may be updated.

Items:

  • Night Vision Device: A primary item which replaces the flashlight by providing the user unfiltered lighting. Environments with bright lighting will overload the device, and render it useless for the rest of the round.
  • Stapler [VEND]: A stapler which shoots out extremely powerful staples. Hitting the Auditor with a staple will stun him temporarily, but will permanently increase his speed by a small amount for the rest of the round. If you run out of staples, you can just throw the staple gun to distract him.
  • Camera: LIGHTS! CAMERA! ACTION! Using the camera allows you to flash the auditor 3 times, but will eventually run out of battery for the round. It's recommended to save these only if you really, really need it.
  • Energy Drink [VEND]: Boosts your speed temporarily, and makes your crouching speed much faster.
  • Empty Bottle [RNG]: The empty bottle usually spawns somewhere in the facility or office maps. There is a slight chance it doesn't even spawn at all. Once throwing this item, it creates a loud sound and alerts the auditor; however, since it's extremely light, it doesn't really get anywhere far. Use this to your advantage, I guess?

General Enhancements:

  • Light Detection: When the player is hidden in extremely dark environments, the Auditor will not be able to see them; Unless the player is holding a device or walking around in the dark, they are completely invisible. This doesn't nullify the effects of colliding with the auditor.

Maps:

  • Offices: The offices is a map which is most easily characterized by, well... offices. They contain cubicle areas where staff would work, and the main exit is the "Car Park" exit. While this map is bright, the Auditor will attempt to disable the lighting within the map, making it difficult for the player to see. They must navigate to the breaker, perform a quick-time event, and lock the breaker before being able to escape. This will attract the auditor; ensure he's a fair distance away.
  • Facility: The facility is a dark, desolate research laboratory. This is where research on multiple horrid entities went down, and you somehow stumbled upon it to get back the money you owe the loan sharks. However, the Tax Auditor is looking for you, and he knows exactly where you'd go for money.

Additions:

  • Difficulty Selection: Difficulties will stack on top of multipliers, producing higher payouts and greater challenges. They will be categorized as "Tax Brackets"; E.g, Lower Class will make the Auditor move slower, but provide a really low payout, whereas Billionaire will provide an amazing payout but make the Auditor extremely sensitive.
  • Map-based Payout: Depending on the map, you will either earn more or less money than any other map on the same difficulty. This is either due to the map having increased dead-ends, more points of failure, or an overall horrid experience in general. By horrid, I mean hard; not bad.
  • Money Rework: You can only collect up to $1000 per round. However, you are able to upgrade your money bag within the shop and earn more cash per round.
  • Vending Machines: Grab a drink with some friends! Earn round-only power ups, such as sodas and traps.

Modifiers

All modifiers have been omitted as they've already been added in.

Not all of the content present in this issue thread will be present in 3.0.0; Some of it may release in later minor pushes, i.e 3.1.0, 3.2.0, etc.

Please be mindful that development is developed solely by me, and all administrative work is also handled by me. Making games takes effort, and on your part, I need you to put in some effort to be patient. Thank you.
