Heya! Obviously since the message above showed "plans", and weren't final, I decided to show y'all what we're really dropping.

Changelog:

  • 'Play' replaced with 'Maps': This is an honest change that has been in the works for a while, but the main menu will now show a list of all available maps and their payout.
  • Game stability upgrades: This update also changes how the game actually handles errors; a lot of the time, it should now gracefully handle them, and keep the game open; or save and quit the game.
  • Cutscene changes: Made some changes to cutscenes, such as the exit cutscene, endings, etc.
  • Slight map changes: Since the maps are going to be changing, I have decided to just modify the baseplate map as I please. This update moves the exit a bit away from where it originally was, as the place it was originally causes issues with the map (there's a room directly behind it)
  • Patched a few bugs: Fixed a few bugs, such as the one where the burner phone would mysteriously unequip after playing with it in a round.
  • Auditor Changes: The Auditor will receive changes to make him more... ominous, in other words.
  • "Overtime" Payout: If you choose to get greedy, and decide to grab more money than what's necessary, the game will punish you by increasing the auditor's speed, hearing range, and make him more sensitive.
  • Audio Popping & Lag: This has hopefully been patched, and finalized.
  • Locked Doors: While we already do have locked doors, this simply makes them more prevalent; and breachable. Sir Spvce's room is now accessible.

Release Date

The release of v2.3.0 should hopefully come by the 25th of May, 2026, and in this time, there will be a heavy shift towards optimization. I want to make sure the game is playable by even the lowest-tier hardware, without needing to tune down settings. Hopefully this becomes standard, I don't know...
